On the other hand technology in the classroom can be somewhat scary. The reason for this is because there are many things that can be done without technology that force students to use their brains that could be perfectly healthy for them. For example, the use of graphing calculators in the math class enviroment across the nation nowadays. There was a time that students completed the same kinds of math problems without all of this and they turned fine if not better. Further, one could argue that the were more apt to remember how to actually solve a problem rather than to just remember which sequence of numbers to press to have the calulator spit out the answer. Another example, if the completion of research. Before Google people actually performed researched. There is another way to do it. But for most current day students Google is really all they know. So on the flip side of all of the glory, this is what can be scary.
